Meet Belle

Howdy! I'm Belle, a mom to two young men and three little ladies with fur. Having grown up in a tiny town in the South, I adore small towns and taking scenic routes whenever possible. I am also: a weather nerd, former roller derby girl and future nurse who loves home improvement, design, rescuing/repurposing anything I can, and all things vintage. I live in band and roller derby tees, cheap sunglasses, and funky jewelry. 

When I'm not hanging out with my family, spending way too much time on the internet, at a show, or working, you can find me on my back porch with the music going, enjoying a cold adult beverage and getting lost in a favorite magazine or book:

And of course, I love music! Some of my earliest musical memories are of my Dad waking me up on Friday nights so I could watch The Midnight Special with him, and I can vividly recall becoming fascinated with the darker, heavier stuff after the sitter's kid introduced me to Kiss. Since simply listening has never been enough, I've been attending concerts since my early teens and I have no plans to stop anytime soon.

I am definitely not your typical southern belle!
